We visited our fellow startup partners in Switzerland and multiple university campuses (Neuchatel, Geneve, Lausanne and Zurich), confirming a strong mutual desire for sharing knowledge and experiences.

Although separated by distance, Switzerland and Bosnia and Herzegovina share some similarities — similar surface area, a landscape of majestic mountains, but also people with a resilient spirit. Switzerlands has a globally recognized innovation ecosystem ranking 1st in the world according to UN criteria, for 15 years in a raw. Looking at those data, we see a clear vision and inspiration for our own journey since Bosnia and Herzegovina has even more and diverse natural resourses.

There is no shortage of drive and desire for success in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Through work with young generations in NanoPoli Centre, we witness daily that many of them have the potential for great scientific achievements.

This time, we are bringing home a wealth of memories with colleagues, new project initiatives, but most importantly — concrete plans and fresh energy to push science forward in BiH!
