CIDEA hosted an interactive workshop, “Energy efficiency and cost reduction” in Banja Luka and NanoPoli Centre is thankfull for being elected as the knowledge provider. Attendees explored advanced insulation, smart consumption metering, and planet-friendly technologies.
Discussions revealed that building insulation exceeding 100 mm isn’t always energy-efficient when accounting for total life-cycle impacts. Highlighting female leadership in technology, a dedicated session demonstrated how smart electronics optimize energy management. Addressing Europe’s climate extremes, speakers stressed that green solutions—such as wind energy—must be managed carefully to avoid unintended environmental harm like blade waste.
